Most of that shit is either outdated, or ways to be an annoying punk. Not all that useful.

Looks like a decent cook book, and it can be had for only $11, but I am wary of taking food advice from a Brit. Can you be trusted?

I make a mean Japanese noodle soup - will post recipe later. I think it's fine to take food advice from a Brit, just so long as you're not being advised to eat British food:

I'm a fan of Yorkshire pudding with either gravy or jam.

Black pudding is great. I heard you Brits also eat a lot of it.

Yeah, Yorkshires too.
I wouldn't say "a lot" of black pudding, it's more likely to be an extra with a cooked breakfast.
Where I'm from (the South West) this is also popular:

Hogs pudding - a mixture of pork and herbs, lightly grilled and served with other fried meats.

Here in Portugal there are quite a few types of blood pudding. There's nice to eat grilled on an open fire, while sitting with friends outside talking on those long summer evenings.

| Black and white pudding, as well as a third variant red pudding are served battered at chip shops in Scotland as an alternative to fish and chips. |

How do any Scots survive past the age of 25? Ok, I think we Americans invented fried Twinkies, but it takes a certain amount of culinary bravery to batter and deep fry sausage.

Twinkies turn to liquor if you age them 10 years.
