Most of that shit is either outdated, or ways to be an annoying punk. Not all that useful.

Looks like a decent cook book, and it can be had for only $11, but I am wary of taking food advice from a Brit. Can you be trusted?

I make a mean Japanese noodle soup - will post recipe later. I think it's fine to take food advice from a Brit, just so long as you're not being advised to eat British food:

Black pudding is great. I heard you Brits also eat a lot of it.

Yeah, Yorkshires too.
I wouldn't say "a lot" of black pudding, it's more likely to be an extra with a cooked breakfast.
Where I'm from (the South West) this is also popular:

Hogs pudding - a mixture of pork and herbs, lightly grilled and served with other fried meats.

Here in Portugal there are quite a few types of blood pudding. There's nice to eat grilled on an open fire, while sitting with friends outside talking on those long summer evenings.

| Black and white pudding, as well as a third variant – red pudding – are served battered at chip shops in Scotland as an alternative to fish and chips. |

How do any Scots survive past the age of 25? Ok, I think we Americans invented fried Twinkies, but it takes a certain amount of culinary bravery to batter and deep fry sausage.

"The interests of the State and those of the individual differ fundamentally and are antagonistic. The State and the political and economic institutions it supports can exist only by fashioning the individual to their particular purpose; training him to respect ''law and order;" teaching him obedience, submission and unquestioning faith in the wisdom and justice of government; above all, loyal service and complete self-sacrifice when the State commands it, as in war. The State puts itself and its interests even above the claims of religion and of God. It punishes religious or conscientious scruples against individuality because there is no individuality without liberty, and liberty is the greatest menace to authority." Emma Goldman

Twinkies turn to liquor if you age them 10 years.
